A Legacy of Excellence

Managing attorneys John Naylor and Jennifer Braster formed Naylor & Braster in July 2014. The following year, retired Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court A. William Maupin joined the firm and in October 2015, John and Jennifer renamed their firm Maupin • Naylor • Braster. Bill returned to the Nevada Supreme Court as a Senior Judge in 2017 and the firm is once again known as Naylor & Braster, Attorneys at Law.

Since its formation, our firm has nearly doubled in office space and added two additional attorneys. We strive for active and engaged relationships with clients, identifying goals at the commencement of the matter and preparing a plan and budget in accordance with those goals. Through these relationships, Naylor & Braster successfully advocate on behalf of our clients while ensuring their legal and monetary needs are being met.

Naylor & Braster has established a reputation as a respected commercial litigation firm. John and Jennifer routinely appear before both the state and federal trial courts and have established relationships with the judges in both venues. They have both appeared in the Eighth Judicial District Court and United States District Court for the District of Nevada and have appellate experience with both the Nevada Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

With almost 65 years combined legal experience, Naylor & Braster litigates with its clients’ goals and expectations at the forefront. John and Jennifer have successfully achieved final dispositions in favor of their clients before both state and federal trial and appellate courts. Their combined decades of legal experience not only include complex commercial litigation matters, but also contract law property or loan disputes, construction law and appellate work.

Our firm strives to establish relationships with each client before disputes arise in order to maximize the benefit to the client and avoid lengthy and expensive litigation. By offering this legal counsel role, we use the firm’s expertise to avoid disputes rather than reacting when a dispute arises. However, when disputes do arise, our expertise and fee arrangements strive to meet not only the client’s legal needs but monetary considerations as well.
