LAS VEGAS (July 8, 2016) John Naylor and Jennifer Braster, managing partners at Maupin·Naylor·Braster, Attorneys at Law, have been recognized in the Super Lawyers 2016 Mountain States edition among the area’s top litigation attorneys.
Naylor has been listed as a Super Lawyer since 2014 and Braster was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
Naylor practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, legal ethics and appellate law. He has been practicing for nearly 30 years, during which time he also served as a judge advocate for the United States Air Force and as a partner in the firm Lionel Sawyer Collins prior to founding his own firm in 2014. He has served as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, specializing in construction matters, and testified as an expert witness on drafting construction contracts. He was also appointed to the Las Vegas Justice Court’s Pro-Tem panel for 2015-2016 and provides legal services to veterans and active duty military personnel through the Nevada Attorney General’s Office of Military Legal Assistance.
